    Physical Computing and Internet of Things

    We’re running two weeks of #Arduino sessions here at the Liverpool School of Art and Design, from next monday onwards. We’ll start with basic examples of controlling components with code and move into environment sensing and triggering. We’ll discuss other possibilities such as connecting to #Flash, #Izadora and #Max and also cover what is required to control electronic appliances that use mains (240V).

    Animation and Motion Graphics

    We are running some animation sessions over the next two weeks. We’ll start with Timeline animation and progress through to action script 3. We’ll be discussing the role Flash still has to play now that support is being removed from the mobile web as well as how to use Flash as a tool to generate interactivity where is has many strengths.
